We are delighted with our redesigned back garden. From your first visit when you reviewed our draft plan to provide an initial quotation, we were impressed by your enthusiasm and honest opinion. Your knowledge and experience of hard landscaping provided us with a much better design than we had first envisaged. There were a number of aspects of the design, which developed during construction and your patience, advice, and keenness to ensure that we were happy with the end result was most welcome. The final choice of materials is much better than our original plan and the end result surpasses our expectations.

Work started as promised on the scheduled date and proceeded surprisingly quickly. We were particularly impressed by your work force that was always very polite, hard working and enthusiastic. Despite poor weather they remained cheerful and managed to work in a very tidy manner. Your personal commitment was such that we felt very comfortable with the way that work proceeded. We are sure that Graham's eye for "what looks right" will serve you well for the future.

Nowadays it is so difficult to gauge whether a company will carry out a project in a professional manner and provide good service. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who is looking for quality workmanship and good value for money.

We now look forward to implementing Anna's advice and completing the planting scheme.

I am writing to thank you for the great job you and the men did on the patio and rockery. It was a pleasure to find how friendly and helpful everyone was. You guided me with my ideas and I'm so very pleased with the results.

There was nothing to sort out or clean when you had all left, even the dust was washed from the windows.

The garden had to be dug back and as you know, the weather was not great, so there was plenty of mud about but every evening when you had finished for the day the area was left swept and tidy.

You helped me by lifting lots of overgrown heathers and digging over the soil for me.

The men were pleasant and chatty and the patio that they built blends in perfectly with the steps that you built for me a couple of years previously.

We felt we must write to you to express our delight in and tender our congratulations on what you and your team have achieved for us in the construction of the patio and the terraced garden round it. We knew from the start that we could entrust this project to you and you have more than fulfilled our expectations and ambitions. The very attractive result witnesses to your desire to do everything well both in overall construction and in fine details. We are also very grateful for our own ideas on ways to improve our first designs. These have proved to be most successful. We have been very proud to show off our new "outside living space" to family, friends and neighbours who have all been most impressed.

We want to mention three other matters. First, is the excellent and sensitive way in which you dealt with our neighbours who, of course, have had to endure the inevitable noise and mess accompanying such a project. They were entirely happy about what was going on. Secondly, you are to be congratulated on the quality of your workforce. They were always polite and cheerful and worked very hard. In fact, as you know, it was their appetite for hard work, which led one of our neighbours to ask you to undertake a project for them. We were particularly taken with their obvious enthusiasm for what they were doing and the clear pride that they felt in their achievement. You must be a good trainer! Thirdly, we were very grateful for the conscientious tidying up round the house when the work was completed.

In short, we thank you very much for your work and the enjoyment you gave us while it was in progress. We shall have no hesitation in recommending you highly to those seeking to undertake a similar project and we shall be more than happy to let other potential customers of yours to come to view this project by arrangement. All we need now is some fine weather to enable the planting to be finished!
